The St. Louis Child Abuse & Neglect Network welcomes Missouri First Lady Sheena Greitens as our guest speaker at the fourth annual Stepping Up for Kids Awards Luncheon on Friday, Oct. 6 at Norwood Hills Country Club. With an adopted sister of her own, Sheena has made children in foster and adoptive care her priority as First Lady. We also are pleased to announce that our emcee will be Cynthia D. Williams, assistant dean for field education and community partnerships at the Washington University George Warren Brown School of Social Work.
Congratulations to our 2017 honorees:
Stephanie Littlejohn, St. Louis Family Court Juvenile Division
Kelly Sullivan, Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition
Bridget Virdure, Youth In Need
Kenya Willis, Missouri Children’s Division
Parents and Families
Janice Smith, Resource Family
Robyne Wilson-Cima, Treatment Foster Parent
Individual seats to the luncheon are still available through Friday, Sept. 29, and are $35 each.
Funds raised at Stepping Up for Kids will help defray event costs and support the work of the St. Louis Child Abuse & Neglect Network, a coalition of over 100 agencies, organizations and individuals dedicated to preventing abuse and neglect and providing safe, loving and permanent homes for children. The St. Louis Child Abuse & Neglect Network is the new name for the St. Louis Family & Community Partnership and the St. Louis Area Council on Child Abuse & Neglect, now one organization.
